This is my very first painting on canvas. Previously, I had used fiber-board, cardboard or glass plate as a base for my acrylic painting.

Thanks to the surface structure and absorbency of the fabric, canvas gives me even more exciting ways to express my ideas. It is even possible to give the impression that it is a combination with watercolor, although it is acrylic. However, other paintings on my website are better examples of this.

I’ve painted it exclusively in acrylic. Even the three-dimensional effects, such as the yellow pieces in the right upper half or, for example, the corrugated blue / yellow at the bottom, are made of acrylic and not of modeling paste or the like. Finally, it is provided with a very thin layer of clear lacquer.
